The working group Mental Health focuses on the frequency and distribution of mental disorders and their risk factors on population level. The aim of our work is to better understand the mechanisms leading to the development of mental disorders. Based on this, projects are planned to investigate how those mechanisms can be influenced in order to prevent or treat mental disorders.
